I got a mac book pro (15 in) in August of 2007. If I recall correctly, it has OS 10.4.
The screen broke when someone dropped something on it in 2008. I got it repaired, but in spring of 2009, it broke again. I started using a monitor with it. Then in the summer, the monitor port stopped working. Since then, it's been an expensive paperweight. Now my mom wants to get it fixed just to see if it has the processor she needs to run a certain program. (I don't know which program, but I could find out).

Anyway, I don't need any sarcastic answers saying to open up the laptop and look, because I can't do that with a laptop that has no means of visualization.
Thanks for any answers. :)

All MacBook Pro models have Intel processors.

Here are complete specs on all MacBook Pro notebooks, including processor information:

For help identifying exactly which MacBook Pro you have, this also can be useful:

Hope this helps!

Macs made in the past 5 years all use intel processors. If your asking which specific processor you are using. You would have to specify which model of macbook pro you are using.

just go to Fsecure tech's website and run a Computer Mapping Scan or you can check out the reviews at www.cnet.com
