Well my older (but newer-ebay) laptop charger has broken i was wondering if i can use my other (newer) laptop charger with it until i get a new one..also i tried it and it seemed to work.
Also if it would damage it would just plugging it in once damage it :(

Hi luke,
We would need to know the specifications for your laptop charger. It really depends. You need to make sure the connector tip fits snuggly with your laptop, the voltages are with, give or take, 5% of the required and the amperage has to be equal to or greater than the requirement. Once all 3 are checked and good to go, you would be safe to use it. I would also suggest you visit TopMic (google them) and buy from them like I did in the past. They have great service and durable products.

On the label there will be current outputs these must be as close a match as possible in that 19v or 19.2v then the plugs to the laptop must also be the same if these items are OK there should be no big problems.
Oh just so your not confused I used the 19v as an idea of comparison's and not the voltage of your machine as I am unaware or the power requirements of your equipment

you need to check the voltage input and output and see if it matches the old chargers. it will say it on the label and if they match ur good to go
