1. Putting your computer into performance mode rather then better apperance will improve the battery life, chance the plan to better battery rather than performance, lower the brightness on your display, turn off your keyboard light if you have such, do not use a screen saver, and other things like that.

2. As of now, there is no other way to have a mobile source of power than a battery, so none.

3. Yes, you can use things like SSD s instead of mechanical drives

4. I have no idea what you are asking

5. iPhones are designed to be energy efficient and have a good battery in them. However, 6 hours is a long time, mine does not last 6 hours, nor does anyone else's that I know.

Plenty of misconceptions about what makes a battery go bad. Batteries simply go unhealthy the more they're used interval. The only thing you are able to do to lengthen the life is do not use them always. If you are sitting next to a wall receptacle, plug in. Overcharging at the moment is a fable. The batteries AND the contraptions that use them have regulators and over charge safeguard. ALL batteries are viewed perishable instruments. There's no such thing as a battery that may final eternally. An additional idiotic factor men and women do with laptops is shut them and allow them to sleep. Flip it off when no longer making use of it. It takes the clicking of a pair keys to the place you left off at whatever. If you are to lazy to press keys just so that you would be able to start where you left off, you are lovely pitiful. Edit: Then there are the dimwits who let you know to take the battery out. These batteries don't drain whether or not they may be in circuit or out when the charger is plugged in. When you've got a battery that drains, it is on its method out within the first location.

If you use your laptop as your primary desktop PC, you may be wasting battery cycles by leaving it plugged in all the time.

The solution: pop the battery out until you actually need to go somewhere with your laptop. As long as the latter is plugged into an AC outlet, it doesn’t actually need the battery.

Trust me on this: I’ve seen fairly new batteries that could barely last half an hour, even though the laptop rarely went anywhere. When in doubt, pop it out.

1. Yes, by using it less.

2. Graphene supercapacitors?

3. Yes, by shrinking the transistor size, such as Intel did with Ivy Bridge CPUs.

3. I dunno, cuz you asked it.

5. Because your Apple iPhone uses a much less powerful system and a ARM CPU and OS designed specifically for phones. Comparing the battery life is wrong, since the laptop is so much more powerful.

Stop daydreaming and get back to work. Stop fantasizing about how things can improve and act upon it.
