How do you zoom out after zooming in by accident using a Sony Vaio mousepad?

So I recently purchased a Sony Vaio laptop and it's fantastic EXCEPT for the pinch to zoom function in the mousepad. I know how to turn it off but I can't turn it off and leave my screen zoomed in as far as it is - it's making it almost impossible to browse online with ease. I've tried moving my fingers apart to zoom back out but it only goes so far before zooming back in and it's driving me mental. Also fn+F9 won't zoom it back out either. Please can I get help on how to actually put this back to normal?!

Thanks in advance!

Try holding Control (CTRL) and scrolling down. That should zoom you out.
