usb port not recognized?

i've uninstall the ports,reinstall the ports,nothing,they work because i can charge my cell phone.

There are several possibilities here. Since you are simply trying to connect to the camera, why not unplug the hub and just temporarily plug your camera directly into your computer until you have all your pictures copied over. Also, there may have been a computer software disk that came with the camera that you have to install in order for the computer to be able to communicate with the camera. It depends on the camera. Your hub may be over-loaded power wise if it is not an externally powered hub. A USB port only carries just so much current capability.

Install chipsets from the support CD that comes with the laptop. Look for the vista supported drivers (X64).

just restart your computer and see if it works it worked for me when i restarted my computer
