Hi Kort T,
You may try the steps mentioned below to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Check the jack on the AC Adapter and system power for any damage.
2. Try charging with the laptop turned off.
3. Check if it charges when you wiggle the AC adapter.
4. You may also try connecting the AC adapter in a different good known power outlet.
5. Check the status of the AC adapter in BIOS. To enter BIOS, shut down the system and once you power it on keep tapping F2. In the BIOS screen, check AC adapter type. If it shows none, update the BIOS from Dell’s support site. Use the link: http://dell.to/1a3LqMv
Note: Plug your computer to a good, working UPS before you update the BIOS. If you experience a loss of AC power or a significant voltage sag/spike during the BIOS flash, you will either have to buy a new BIOS chip or buy a new motherboard. Ensure that the battery is morev than 10% charged.
6. Test with a different, compatible and a good known AC adapter.

Hope this helps.
Thanks and Regards
