Windows 7 to 8 question?

Is it important/ a must thing to upgrade to Windows 8 when I have Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.

Run the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant. It'll tell you if your PC is compatible and what programs, if any, aren't compatible.



If a program is incomparable then you'll have to uninstall it to install Windows 8. As long as you're running all the latest versions of your favorite programs, you should be OK.

Hi, there isn't any real reason to go for windows 8, the majority of computers you buy come with it pre-installed. Windows 8 is ok for touch screens because all the icons have been enlarged make them easier to finger tap. For non touch screens it's a bit of a pain to use.



Microsoft still support windows 7 with regular updates too.



Stick with 7, I wish I had!

Totally up to you! But I really like both of them... 7 is great and fast,



8 you can find this so much faster... and searching your computer is so fast!
