I accidentally left my laptop charging overnight... and I freaked out, so I was looking up on Google what would happen. More than once I saw something like "It's OK if you take out the battery and then leave it charging on AC." I was like what? Please help!!!

If you had your battery out while you were charging overnight then that's nothing to worry about. I do it all the time when I game on my laptop. Technically speaking it wasn't even charging. Basically what you did is what desktops do to get their power. Desktops don't have batteries but instead are directly connected to an outlet (this is exactly the situation you simulated when you left the adapter on without the battery). If you had kept the battery on and had charged overnight, that would have been a whole new story though. You never want to overcharge a battery by say charging it overnight or for long periods of time or it will lose its ability to hold any charge.

It would be like a desktop nothing to charge if you take the battery out, nothing going to happen to your laptop with the battery out , but reminder the battery will discharge itself and have to recharge the battery again , but also a reminder run it on battery power and recharge it to extend the battery life.

well if you charge a laptop without bettery its the same as using a computer(that you cannot bring out) and you said you charged without battery??? good because using and charging at the same time with battery will make the lifespan of the battery worse (meaning it will get empty faster when not charging) so no need to worry :)
