Ok now first before anyone rages at me just here me out. I first had a dell laptop studio and i've had to return it 5 times, yes you read correctly FIVE times because of a hard drive defect every single time. Now i thought of all the possibilities it could have happened, my guesses were that i either crashed because i downloaded the entire adobe master collection on my laptop (400 gb) OR because i picked up and put down my laptop not soft enough. Eventually we got a NEW version of the dell "XPS" it was good for a while but now its going through the same thing the Studio one was going through??? plus a graphics problem. Now i dont have to lie on here so i'll say this, I've treated this laptop so carefully everytime i pick up/ put it down im so afraid somethings going to happen, so my question is :
what is the best laptop for being able to handle being picked up and put down ? i need an answer. plz

You say you took your Dell laptop 5 times for service. I have an ASUS laptop. I am not completely sure but I think I took it to the service department about 6 or 7 times. The people at the service were fantastic. I did not pay anything because it was still under warranty.

It took the technician almost a year to get it right. Now my computer works perfectly well.

I thought I made a mistake buying an Asus but for what you experience with your Dell. I am glad I did not buy a Dell.

I have a friend who has had graphics card problems on his XPS also, but the amount of hard drive problems you are having makes it seem like you are either physically harming the hard drive (if it is a hardware problem) or you are doing something to corrupt the data, such as powering off incorrectly or doing something similar (software problem).

if your prepared to spend the money i might say get a mac, yet once you cant spend that plenty then i might get a dell or TOSHIBA, you actual need to ask your self "What do i desire?" then go right into a very good purchase, or any save like it and that they could desire to be an excellent style of help.

Consider something with a solid state hard drive.

Get a Panasonic Toughbook, they are bulletproof.
