Laptop display smaller than usual...how to fix?

Hi my laptop display is smaller than usual on the screen.

The wallpaper has a black background all around the display...
the usual wallpaper display is inside of a black boarder...

I was wondering if anyone had advise or knew how to fix it

Assuming you are using Vista ....

Right click on an open space of the desktop > Personalize > Desktop Background > under " How should the picture be positioned ", is the blue dot is on the 3rd one ? Change that, click the 1st one > click OK

Did you do anything recently that may have caused it?



also which operating system are you using? Xp, Vista or Windows 7.
