I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC. I had to take the key off to replace it. And now i cant put it back on. Does anyone know of any way to reattach it, besides gluing it. Or know of a website that would tell me.
Its the "\" key if that helps any.

If you did not break the key top, or the X hinge it attaches to, then it is just a matter of holding the key from the bottom edge, and pointing the top edge downward. You slide the top two pins of the X hinge under the two slots on the underside of the key, then tild the bottom edge of the key down until it is flat, and Press the bottom edge of the key until it "pops" into place (the two "C" shaped retainers on the bottom edge of the key will snap onto the two lower pins on the X Hinge.
If you broke off any of the pins on the X hinge, or you broke one of the slots on the upper edge, or you broke off one of the C clips on the lower edge, you will need to either replace the X hinge or Key top respectively.
You can replace the key top/X Hinge for between $5 and $10
Here are some instructions with pictures. You will note that it HP built keyboards that have X hinges (scissor hinges) that worked left-right and up-down, so actual installation does vary per keyboard.

I would just say take it in where you bought it from and see what they can do to help fix that. Try the Geek Squad from Best Buy!
