Well after writing all that [people would not be bothered to read all that wall of text] the thing you forgot was, how old is it?

The real answer to that is, what someone is prepared to pay for it, when you can buy brand new and get a new 12 month warranty because the extended warranty is not transferable.

Despite what you think people are just not interested in secondhand out of date computers and technology.

You might get someone who just want a second machine or get one for the kids but that about all.

You might get a £100 to £130 for it if your lucky.

i think no1 has noticed youve written $ as aposed to £ anyway go check out dell they sell good laptops for good prices. if you want a powerful computer get a desktop what you must remember is its all very nice having a fast laptop but they will never be AS fast as desktop equivilant because the parts are defferent because they must make less heat else everything would go wrong. also having a powerful laptop defeats the point of having a laptop as it will have a battery ife of about 5 minutes because everything is drawing so much power even with a maxed out battery if you go for some insane gaming build its not worth it just get a good desktop
