On the description it says: 2GB DDR3L SDRAM and 32 GB storage. So is that enough storage, would I be able to download more than five things?

If you are planning on using cloud services to store data, then 32 GB is enough. On the other hand. if you wanna think about this, my camera takes about 5 MB photos so I could store about 7300 photos in 32 GB flash drive. Just remember that the OS takes of space, and things like google chrome, skype, or any other application all take out of that 32 GB storage. In general, I would say pass, but (im assuming what other people said about this being a chromebook being true) if you want that lightweight, portable and low spec computer built for word processing, then it's hard to go wrong with a chromebook so long as you use the cloud storage given to you. The only reason you would need the rest of that 32 GB is for downloading programs and using things when you are not connected to the cloud where you can just retrieve them whenever

32 GB of hard disk storage is hardly enough. Let's say you wanted to store photos from your phone? That's only about 1000 photos in 720p HD at most. And games? Play games? Well the RAM will not last you, but excluding software, about 2-8 games (depending how big the game is) will fill the drive.
I strongly suggest you get a laptop with a bigger hard drive. (And 4+ GB of RAM) but however if you cannot try to get a decent sized portable hard drive for yourself (100GB is about the minimum). Anyway, this is what I think, you could be using the laptop just to surf the web, or do tons of school projects without pictures (that's ok).
TL;DR? Well you can get it, just make sure the space is enough. Good luck and all the best to finding your ideal laptop.

That seems to be a chromebook..... And it's hard to say if 32 GB is enough because I don't know exactly what you will be downloading. Just to let you know if it states that it has 32 GB storage, then not all of that storage will be available for you to use as a small portion of it will be used for system files. Certainly it can hold more than five files depending on how big they are. It will hold several hundred music and quite a few videos and pictures. The more the storage space is used up though, is the slower your device will operate.

32Gb for a hard drive is really small. I'm guessing that they're using solid state drives in the laptop, but even that you want to be looking for about 128Gb.
If it's running Windows that alone can grow to about 16Gb in size over time, and so that would only leave a tiny 16Gb left for anything else.
If it's running something like Puppy Linux then that's not too bad as that only take about 500mb and I've run my laptop once with a flash drive that big when my hard drive failed and it was fine for a few months.
If it is a 32Gb SSD drive it will run very fast as there is no moving parts in an SSD but try and get them to change it for at least a 128Gb. I just put one of those in a customers PC who only uses it for basic web surfing and it only cost them £45 for a high quality 128Gb Sandisk drive.
If it's not an SSD drive then stay away from it 'cos 32Gb for a normal drive is so small. I don't even think you can buy them that small any more, the average normal drive is around about 1-2Tb which is 1024-2048Gb - and even if it is an SSD I'd stay away from it too.

It really depends on the size of your "things ".
You can fill any computer with stuff no matter how big its hard drive is. Think of it like a dump truck. There are small boxes and then there are larger boxes. The box is the harddrive. I can fill any box full(some just take longer to fill than others.) At some point the stuff in my computer just takes up space and I never ever will use the program again. That is why I uninstall it. To give me back the memory space by taking out the old junk.
So you have to be more specific when you say things. You need to know the size of each thing and doing a little addition should tell you how much you need. And you only want to fill it about 3/4 full otherwise the computer slows down A LOT. http://boostr.in

That amount of RAM and the size of storage is a tablet, what they used to call a netbook, or possibly a Chromebook. It will work but I wouldn't be trying to do five things at once on it. On the plus side, it should be fairly cheap (certainly under $200 - possibly half that, depending on if it is running Window 8 or an Android operating system).
It might work fairly well, as long as there is a way (micro SD card slot) to get additional storage into it.
If it's an iPad or a name brand tablet (such as a Chromebook) - you may have "free" or cheap storage for extra data on the Cloud.
But it's not going to work very well for anything beyond "light" use (email, watching YouTube, surfing the web, and simple games). It will probably work for taking notes in class and doing word processing for homework - but not if you're taking music or filmography courses involving a lot of special effects.

Yes, a 32 GB HDD is enough, as long as you plan to upgrade your HDD before even turning it on (which honestly, is not all that bad of an idea). I got a deal on a similar laptop and had a 500 GB HDD sitting around.......worked for me.

In this day and age that would be a small drive. If you plan to put games on it you will need to have a drive that is somewhere between 250 and 500 gigs in size because most games in this day and age take up at least 1 or 2 gigs of space.
And this isn't including the space your windows program will use.

That sounds terrible. Even my old refurbished Inspiron M5010 has around 170 GB of space and 3-4 gigs of RAM I think.

If it's a chromebook, or you are only going to use it for google docs, facebook, and general web use with a few photos, then it's plenty. Most phones only have around that much anyways.
However if you are going to use it for anything else such as editing videos, playing games (other than online games), or a lot of music listening, then you are going to want to look are at LEAST 250gb at the lowest possible budget end.

5GB of the hard drive will be taken up by your OS and all of the bloat ware that comes with it. A typical song is about 3 MB. Pictures vary in size depending on the resolution (my DSLR camera pictures are about 3GB)
If you download a lot of songs and pictures, that 32GB will be used up really quick.
I would look for something with at least 500 GB.

Not even close to being enough storage. 32GB of storage is barely enough for most people using a smartphone. And the number of downloaded items means nothing. You go by the size of the download. I've downloaded files that were nearly 20GB. I doubt you'd be happy with this system.

There would be no practical reason to have 32gb or ram in a notebook computer. Money would be better spend getting either more storage, or faster storage (ssd). If a faster processor is available, you could opt to get that instead of more ram as well.

Most computers don't come with less than 400GB memory these days. Are you sure it's not 320GB? Go for something with more storage capacity in case you download games or want to save a lot of photos/documents/music. My husband got one with a terabyte for $400 that works amazing.
