Is 1.33Mhz and 512MB good for an iBook? What is the max they can have? Thanks.

It depends on the model -- there are several different iBook G4s. Your best bet would be to go to Apple's website and check the specs for your particular model.

If it's a mid 2005 model, up to 1.5 GB, Early & Late 2004 models up to 1.25 GB. So if you are planning to upgrade your RAM to the max, you will need to find out which revision iBook you have.

Most Macs do not have a memory limit unlike PCs which have a 4 gig limit.

Depending what you are planning to do, increase the amount of memory in stages - let's say starting at 2 gigs. If your require more then put it in. After a point - (again dependent on your use) the increase is not as dramatic as it was from 512 to two gigs.
