Question:
Why is my laptop crashing now?

Maybe half a year ago, I got this practically new, gaming laptop. Worked amazing with any game I played; I could have the highest setting on everything. However, recently (about a month or two ago), my computer has been acting up and can hardly run games anymore. It first started when I would play Minecraft while in a Skype Call; and maybe after 20 minutes, my computer would crash. It would not crash if I were not in a Skype call. So after that, I started playing another game. "Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition". Moderately sized game I believe. After playing 20-30 minutes of that, it crashed as well. It would do the same every time I played. I found a resolve, however, that when I place a phone book under it, it would not crash(though it would lag).

I observed that every time it would crash, my laptop would be REALLY hot on the side (left). So I figured the source of the crashing. Up to this day, I can hardly play any games. Not even Browser based games without my computer overheating and crashing. It's really terrible. The games run smooth and fine, but not long before the crash. Any help would be appreciated!
I think these are the specs of my Laptop.. I'm not sure.

1st off you're able to desire to google the BSOD errors codes. frequently basically the 1st 2 units of 8 characters and the report that's being referenced. As others have suggested, your RAM may be fried, yet because it particularly is under a 300 and sixty 5 days previous, it particularly is under guarantee. Are the errors messages distinctive each and every time? you may set your digital mail to keep to draft after a volume of time, frequently a million minute is the minimum. Alan

Over heating, blow the dust/lint out using canned compressed air made for cleaning electronics, check the fan for operation or replace, buy a USB laptop cooling pad with built in fans for added cooling.
