Which Laptop is better, Sony Vaio FW series or HP HDX 16?

Question

I am in the midst of buying a new laptop and i am interested in these two. Since i have very little to no experience in purchasing one i would like you guys to help.

HP HDX 16 (X16-1155CA):

Please don't chose a laptop because you like the company. Chose by actually comparing.

Since i am a high school student, i am going to be playing games like Flight simulator X since i want to be a pilot and Crisis, Fallout, burnout and GTA and stuff like that and i will be doing homework and also using it for entertainment like movies and music.

vaio hands down! greatest computers i ever used. ive had macs, hps, dells, toshibas, and sonys. nothing could even come close to the sony's power and performance. go with the vaio, you wont be disappointed.

Do NOT get a Mac! Did you hear what just recently happen? There was malware on a program called iwork09 that messed up over 200,000 Mack computers!! Just stick with pc. Might a suggest an hp Pavillion?

i would say that the hp would be your best bet because although sony's are nice laptops their performance just isn't as good as other companies like hp. Also if you do want to play those games make sure the laptop you get has a decent video card (another reason not to get the sony, it only has an intel media accelerator). so if i were you i would go with the HP
