I wouldn't remove anything from your list.

If you want it to run as new again, copy any needed personal files to external/cd/dvd and restore your factory settings.

Either use the Erecovery management to do this or hold down the Alt key and start tapping F10 as soon as you switch on to bring up the same option.

The common cause of ALL computers running slow is one thing and one thing only, The operating systems your using, for proof of that read all the answers from people that's asking the same question,

Windows has been out for 30 years and in all that time it always been the same, Always gets viruses, Malware spyware, worms and trojans, Slows down, Freezes up. BSoD Crashes,

For people that don't know a computer doesn't need an operating system installed, it can run any live alternative Free up to date August 2012 operating system and software from a memory stick. Windows users are so afraid of trying something new they panic at the thought of it, For those that do try other operating systems then it becomes a WOW this is great, After all every operating system works the same way, Point and click with the mouse, type with the keyboard so whats the difference

Go to this website and check it out, this operating system works exactly the same as window the difference is you can pick at the click of the mouse button what windows desktop you want, 2000, Vista, Xp, windows 7 or Mac OS/x desktop, It fast, it's stable, It's secure, and don't get viruses, and it's up to date July 2012

You can download Ccleaner here : http://bit.ly/1t3jm44

To start with open Ccleaner

To make this concise, beneath is my suggested setup:

Under web pilgrim check provisional web documents, treats, and last download area. Most clients don't generally require this stuff. keep history and bookmarks unchecked, history is a possibly, however you would prefer not to lose bookmarked locales.

Run Ccleaner and it will begin erasing documents.

a while later it will give you an arrangement of the documents erased, you truly don't have to experience it as it will be a few pages long.

The registry cleaner is proposed for marginally more praiseworthy clients. Use it in the wake of uninstalling projects as they will regularly abandon erroneous registry sections.

In the event that you choose to run Registry cleaner then audit the things identified and constantly move down the registry (I keep an envelope aside for this)

The Tools tab gives you a chance to uninstall projects and set startup programs. Why do you require this if Windows has these peculiarities? Particularly with Vista Home Ed. The windows safeguard programming wayfarer( startup programs) doesn't get a few sections (however programming adventurer is less demanding to utilize).

Utilizing Ccleaner to uninstall projects and after that check for remaining registry passages takes less time.

Under Options you can decide how Ccleaner cleans your records. I allow this to sit unbothered.

Hmm, hard to say. When was the last time you did a re-installation. If your having a slower computer maybe it's time to re-install. Generally I'd do a reinstallation at least once a year (when I had windows, I know am thankfully switched to linux winxx SUXS). But b4 you attempt a reinstallation you should backup your peronsal files to either a usb stick, or external hdd. Then with your winxx installation cd's do a complete reinstallation. Another possibility of slow downs is if your computer is dusty, do you have a laptop if so, then is the fan allways on or is it hot most of the time. If so I would recommend bringing it to a techinican so they can clean the dust from the inside. As well a good investment is a laptop cooling station, helps keep laptops cool.

hopeuflly that helps. cheers

Let us trim the fat off :)

First get rid of:

midicair Toolbar

If the computer is still slow, then proceed to:

Get rid of:

AVG 2012 (it is an antivirus program but it slows down the computer.

AVG PC Tuneup

then if still slow:

Microsoft Works (If you primarily use and have license to use Office)

Then if still slow:

(Be becareful with these. You maybe want to keep these).

eMachines Recovery Management

eMachines ScreenSaver

eMachines Updater

Hope it helped.

PS: There is so much RESIDUAL stuff, unused registry strings that slows down the computer as well. I use Registry First Aid 8 to clean out the registry.
