I'm shopping for a laptop/netbook... what would you recommend for a really great price?

I'm looking into buying a laptop/netbook. I'm not thrilled about Dells, at all.

I love Macs and I love how HPs look. Never really owned either of them.

But as most of us, I'm really strapped for cash so I needed one soon and for as low cost of possible.

Do you know where I can shop for a good quality and NEW portable computer for cheap?

Asus and Acer have some good deals, I used to have an HP and loved that. Dells suck! mine was dead in a year, Also check out MSI laptops. Sometimes macbook pros have payment plans too. Good luck!

I own an Apple iMac desktop and it is the best computer I have ever had. I have never had any problems with it. Most of my family has Apple laptops and none of them have ever had any problems with them. Don't go with an HP because I know somebody who has gone through many because they have broken easily.
