its a asus pc notebook...i've been tryin to boot it .... i've tried safe mode with networking.... The options here are:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA Mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent seettings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Debugging Mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure

Start Windows Normally
Reboot

When i try "Start Windows Normally" or "Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent seettings that worked)", it then asks me to select the operatind system to start, with the only option Microsoft windows xp edition. After selecting this, the computer goes black.

When i try "Safe Mode" it again asks me to select the operatind system to start, with the only option Microsoft windows xp edition. After selecting this, it comes up with:

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\hal.dll
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\KDCOM.DLL
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\BOOTVID.dll
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\config\system
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\c_1252.nls
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\c_437.nls
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\l_intl.nls
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\FONTS\vgaoem.fon
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\AppPatch\drvmain.sbd
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\ACPI.sys
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\WMILIB.SYS
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\isapnp.sys

This is as far as i have got. I dont know what to do now.
If anyone knows anything about this, has any suggestions as to what i can do, or who i can ask for help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Rofl @ spammer but anyways along with the question

Your computer is obviously currupt. You need the windows installation disk , And you need to turn off your computer - put in the disk - close it - and restart computer > Boot from disk > I'll post a video of how to do this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0cop_am1WM

Hope this helps

Thank you question is very informative, so you not completely booting into safe mode or any other mode, which could indicate hard drive failure, or dying? Have you tried going to the recovery partition, tapping F3, F11 or holding 0(zero) down while turn the pc on are some of the combinations., if you can't get into that it is possible the hard drive has or is failing? Look for flashing harddrive activity light, not all activity lights flash. listen put ear to bottom of laptop to hear hard drive spin? Options take it for repair, replace hard drive, hopefully your under warranty? I had a customer the other month similar, but brand new, failed hard drive

Same thing happened to me 1/2 hour ago

I had to boot with my XP disc and repair Windows

Apparently System32 folder was damaged because thats what Safe Mode Stalled on when booting

Perform a Repair Installation

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/tips/doug92.mspx

My OEM XP disc works a little differently

I have to trick it into Repairing the installation on C: by telling it to install on D:

It proceeds with checking C: and Repairs it.

If you have no cd rom or disc you can install Linux on a thumb drive and access files

Then do a Factory Restore of XP from the Restore Partition

Your laptop has to support boot from USB - open BIOS or look in the manual to see if it does

Do you have anything plugged into it when it's trying to boot? Anything in the usb ports, or even a cd in the drive? Also, have you tried downloading or installing anything new on it recently? If anything is plugged in to any port, I would try unplugging it.

When presented with the first boot options, try selecting "disable automatic restart on system failure" and see what happens then....

when you get to the boot option screen . scroll to this option "Disable automatic restart on system failure" that will give you what is called the BSOD it will give the error code and possible cause of the problem. repost with that and yo may get a better chance of a fix.

Your computer has a corruptepted OS and the only way to fix this is to reinstall the OS
