can anyone tell me why i can't get connected to the internet on my wireless laptop, but my ipod and phone are connected. It says i'm connected to the network, but there is no internet connection for some reason. Everything else that connects wirelessly are working ok, just the laptop that won't work. Any suggestions??
Thanks

i hate the times when our internet quits on us.

options:

1. unplug and replug your modem.

2. unplug all your cords connected to your router, then put them back

after performing these steps, wait until all lights are green( or whatever color means "on and working")

Then your internet should work. If not you might need a new router, call your provider to be sure.

Hope i helped, losing internet is a nightmare!!

Click on your internet settings and make sure "never dial a connection" is selected. This can sometimes cause this.If this is what it is make sure you click on apply then ok so it doesn't do it everytime you restart.

2 things i can suggest without seeing it for myself, 1st is if there's a password have you maybe entered it wrong,

2nd is to go into the router (type 192.168.1.1 into your internet browser) type your user name and password, mine is admin and password, however it varies from routers, and try and give yourself a static IP address.

Hope i helped.
