Yesterday I was on my computer just browsing the internet and then all the sudden it turns of. (for those that wonder yes the battery was charged) After I go to turn the computer back on I get an error message stating...

"Windows cannot repair this computer automatically

If you have recently attached a device to this computer, such as a camera or portable music player, remove it and restart your computer. If you continue to see this message, contact your system administrator or computer anufacturer for assistance.

view diagnostic and repair details
view advanced options for system recovery and support"

Now I have tried clicked finish and shutting the computer down, also I have attempted view advanced options and tried a system recovery, system restore, shut down, and I feel i have tried everything. I have also booted it into SAFE MODE and still would not load past that error message. Now with the error message I did plug a iHome mouse into my laptop because my mousepad decided to randomly stop working. after the message occured i unplugged it.

What can I do to fix my computer? And will I never be able to use a mouse of any sort now?

Use a set of recovery disc made for the laptop and do a system repair or reinstall. The operating system has corrupt start up files.

looks like the operating system is severly damaged. you should look into reinstalling the entire operating system and start from scratch. you can use a reinstallation disk, a recovery disk, or a recovery partition. before you do, make sure you back up your files first. you can do so with a hard drive enclosure. this will allow you to access your files by skipping the operating system (the thing thats damaged). i use a bt-300 from topmicrousa and all you do is copy and paste the files off your operating system and youre good to go.

after you are done backing up your files, reformat the hard drive then recopy the files.

if you have any more questions feel free to send me an email and ill be happy to help \(^_^)/

You should take it to the store from where you bought it...

It looks like your OS installation is corrupted and their is only one easier step to make it work like before, that is OS re-installation.

You've got a mess. Take it to the shop
