waterdamage on my macbook PRO !!!?

hi there
i just spilled a glass of water on my macbook pro keyboard 5 days ago, my dad told me it will work again but it seems to not work.
most keys are not responding and those that are responding give wrong keys.
+ i dried it with a hair dryer and it melted several keys on my macbook keyboard :(
did u have same problem with water damage if so what did apple store say and how much did u pay to repair it ?
Mine still has 3 month warranty

The motherboard is underneath the keyboard and if you spill water on that you're screwed.

put it in a bowl of rice in the hotpress - it works for phones so will probably work for laptops as well (the rice soaks up the water and drys it out)

call to apple..they may change that for you for free..

but hair dryer was stupid idea if you melted keys..
