Step 1: In start menu, go to Control Panel. Step 2: Double click on Add/Remove Programs. Step 3: Search for Programs to be deleted and then click on change/remove.

I'm no expert but I would say you probably need to keep most of those files. If you need to free up some space, why not save your work and music files etc on a memory stick or cd and then use the recovery disc and reboot your computer back to the factory settings.

Not sure where you got to that list from on your PC, but looking at them, I would seriously say, Leave them alone!!, Esp Realtek (sound) Symantec (Anti-Virus), there are a couple of things that may need tweaking, but overall, you Don't seem to have an awful lot on there in the way of Software, so....

Download CCleaner....

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Run that, and it will remove loads of Cr*p from your PC basically.

Do a Defrag....

Backup any unwanted Media,

This will help. good luck.

What I would suggest you is to clean your Internet cookies and other files in your document folder that are taking space. Leave the ones that you mention alone, they are programs that came with your system. Do not mess with them!

Here is the link from WikiHow and eHow with instructions on how to delete cookies and other files in your file. Read and follow the directions carefully.
