why is the first one says intel core 2 quad but it says Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor and what does having the Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology mean??

which computer is more powerful?? and i don't really care about the screen all i care is the computer speed and i also use it for gaming!! and also pick the one that is a good deal!!

That Core 2 Quad logo is wrong. You can't even get a Quad core for laptops at the moment anyway.

Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology basicly means that the CPU (a core 2 duo) has been optimized for low power consumption and usage in a laptop.

As for performance that Core 2 Duo is where it's at, even though it's got a lower clock speed than the AMD Turion it'll run faster.

I'm pretty sure you want the Core 2 Duo processor, but a thousand for that hp seems a little steep. Try going to bensbargains.net and see if you can get a cheaper one. Lol.

Niether of those will play any recent games well at all. You need to look at a desktop computer for gaming...and they're both overpriced too



OH and you very much can get a quad core in a laptop...look at the high end models at sagernotebook.com
