My USB mouse doesn't move, it only left-clicks,right clicks and scrolls. It doesn't take batteries and i've already done the whole uninstall the host thing on device manager, then reboot and re install and doesn't work. And also disable and enable the HID and checked other USB ports. Also the red light underneath has stopped

Flip the mouse upside down and check to see if the red light on the underside of the mouse is on. If it is not, replace the batteries in the mouse and restart your laptop.

Move the wireless receiver to a place where it has a clear line of sight to the mouse, and then try moving your cursor around on the screen.

Unplug the mouse receiver from whatever port it is plugged into, and plug it into a different port. Restart your computer if the mouse does not immediately work.

Remove any other mouse software that might be installed (from a previous mouse, for example) by going to the "Uninstall Programs" menu, and choosing to uninstall the old mouse software. Restart the computer once the uninstall is completed.

Warning-When uninstalling old mouse software, make not to uninstall the software from the mouse you're trying to fix; only uninstall software from mice you're not using.

The mouse is broken.

I was not sure what it was until you said, the red light underneath has stopped. You need to buy a new mouse, as the optical part of it that controls mouse movement has stopped working. Thus, the red light has gone off.

Have you tried using the mouse on a further floor, if its only a low cost mouse then the led probably faulty however on the other hand if it's a inexpensive mouse you might do higher just to switch it.

Buy another mouse & plug, If it's not working, there must be an error in your USB ports.

Sounds like the tracking device (laser/optical) has died. Time for a new mouse.

The mouse is faulty. That's where I conclude the problem is. Please buy another USB Mouse.
