My Toshiba laptop keyboard is not working properly. It is jumbling letters and numbers- for instance, typing the letter "y" gives me "k7y" or something along those lines. The "down" arrow is not working at all. It is not a problem with the NumLock button or any of the function keys. Does anybody know what to do? Thanks.
And for all you trolls out there, this was typed on a different computer. Nice try in advance, though.

you in all probability have a distant places industry pc, that has the keyboard localized for yet another usa. you're able to have the skill to reserve a US industry keyboard rather section the two from Toshiba or from human beings parting out laptops on ebay.

its probably because there is some key pressed on your keyboard...try pressing all keys of your keyboard and notice whether they are properly working.

go to control panel and select keyboard and input settings and make sure you are set on English - US.
