Problem with my Laptop. Someone help me plsss?

My laptop got virus and i have the Symantec Endpoint Protection, which is not working so i downloaded Avast, hoping i can remove those pesky virus with it. But the problem is Avast cant do its job with Symantec still running so i tried to remove the Symantec one (through control panel) but i cant, theres always an error that pops up O_O
Can anyone help me?

Install Microsoft security essentials for your anti-virus. then download and install malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. you can get it here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html. Download "Malwarebytes" , install and make sure to run update then scan to remove threats.
