My Laptop just wont turn on, help please!!!!?

Question

I have a HP laptop and when i turn it on it wont. The volume buttons and quick time light comes on and when i press them the light comes on but nothing happens. The screen is jsut black. I have tried it with the laptop charging and without the laptop charging and the same things happens. Also, its just tunrs on and off repeatdley doing the same thing which is just turning on and off with the volume lights turning on and off. Can someone please tell me how to fix this please.

Sounds like a hardware related issue. More then likely something will need to be replaced. I suggest going here for more help

Do you have a desktop, If so take the moniter off of it and plug it into the laptop if it has a vga slot and see if it will power up, sounds like a screen issue

take out the battery, leabe it for a bit and put it back in
