Without any disks, without backing up anything.
I've googled how to do it soo many times, but all it says is to hit F12 or F11 while turning the computer on. I cannot find the re-boot option..

Note: On performing the below mentioned steps, all the data will be permanently deleted. Please make sure you do have a backup of all the important files.

Factory reset for DELL:

1. Shutdown your computer by pressing and holding the power button for few seconds.

2. Turn it back on.

3. As soon as it turns back on, press down the CTRL key and keep tapping the F11 key.

4. On doing this correctly, it will bring up a screen that should be something like 'DELL PC restore by Symantec'.

5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the restoration process.

Feel free to contact me through email anytime. I am online 24*7 and if offline, do leave a message and I would get back to you asap.

You need to post the model number and installed operating system along with the brand when asking for help.

You will find instructions at the below link if it is a different operating system then select correct one at click here to change operating systems. Restoring Your Dell Computer“s Software to the Factory Settings: http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/kcs/document?c=us&l=en&s=gen&docid=DSN_336966&isLegacy=true

You should create the recovery disc set or order them from http://www.support.dell.com it is good to have a set just in case they are ever needed.
