I'am having problems connecting to the wireless internet on my laptop. My dads laptop here connects fine to his internet. The modem is working and the online light is one. I'm not sure what I'am doing wrong, every time i try to connect it says unable to connect to .......
My laptop is a HP, Windows 7 , Intel pentium.
Let me know what Im doing wrong please THANKS!!! :)

device manager - uninstall wireless lan under network adaptors and restart your computer and let windows reload the drivers, you will be informed found new hardware

Wireless in Laptops are not enable by default. Open menus, find network connections. The wireless should be listed, click on this and enable your wireless and click apply or OK. The ones that come with switches you have to turn it on when ever you boot up or set it in the network connections to be permanent.

Turn your wireless antenna on, on a HP should be a radio shaped icon on your Fkeys. Blue mean on.

substantial !!!! Are you utilising router? If convinced merely merely plug Ethernet cable in modem and verify once you've connection then.you need to have ! After in case you employ router to procure to reset it or deploy it with the CD back I continually do this and convinced I had similar pc ! in case you write me back i'd be functional in case you opt for .
