I just formatted the hard drive, installed Vista and updated everything. It use to hang on startup before so I thought the formatting would help. I have all current drivers installed but sometimes I just see the microsoft screen with the little green scroll bar, and then nothing. I think it is a video driver issue. I thought it may be software but I am beginning to think it is hardware...like I said...all drivers are up to date. I'm stumped I just put in more memory from 480mb to 2gb..it finds 1.97gb...close enough...lol

undesirable not worry-free force, corrupted abode windows installation, virus, who's conscious of? have you ever used F10 to get into the BIOS to be sure if the not worry-free force is known? have you ever tried to do F8 besides into secure Mode? Or very last time-venerated solid Configuration? have you ever created a bootable antivirus rescue CD and ran a test? attempt a number of this stuff one after the other to initiate. with any success you'll slender it down and then you'll take care of the truly reason.
